• Note: Written and driving tests are not administered on weekends and holidays.

  Test procedure

• 1. Written test
• ・Submit application (Fill out at Fuchu Driver's License Center)
• ・Aptitude tests
    (vision, color blindness, and hearing, plus depth perception for Class 2 License)
• ・Application desk: Third floor, room 37 (written test) / Room 38 (driving test)
• ・Test results are provided 45 minutes to an hour after test completion.
• ・After passing the written test, make a reservation for a driving test.

• 2. Driving Test (at later date)
• Morning test assembly time: 8:30 a.m. ／ Afternoon test assembly time: 1:00 p.m.

  Test Fee

• Written test: 2,900 yen / Driving test: 1,450 yen / Issuing fee: 1,150 yen
• Note: Payment can only be made in cash.

Written test

➊Resident registration card showing your permanent domicile Note：Issued within the last six months. Note：If you are a foreign national, a residence certificate with all details filled out. Note：Other licenses (holders only) ❷ID(Ex：Health insurance card, student ID, employee ID, passport) Note：Only documents with the same address as your resident registration card are accepted Note：If you are a foreign national, please bring your residence card. ❸Two ID photos (3cm x 2.4cm) ❹Glasses or contacts if worn ❺Proof of submission Note：Only for those who do not have a resident registration in Tokyo
